Your login/username has been designated as the site administrator. Using your special site administrator login listed above you can manage your site anytime. Management features include: managing user accounts, email forwarding and autoresponders, disk space, and archival services by going to this address and entering your username and password. You will also have a security alert pop up on your screen that you will need to accept in order to proceed.

Statistical analysis is run daily and you can see this on the “Site Reports" link located in you site administration page. This will give you access to Web site statistics or FTP statistics.
Your web site can be updated via ftp or by using Microsoft FrontPage. "ftp" refers to the internet's "file transfer protocol" as used by ftp client software such as CuteFTP (included on the EONI EZ-NET CD-ROM disk), WSFTP, and many other commercial, shareware and freeware programs.
If you use ftp to update your site simply open an ftp session to this host:
yourdomain.comIf you wish to place or update files in the main root directory which serves your entire domain, you will need to upload these files to the mainwebsite_html directory.
For example, if you use CuteFTP, you can set up the site with the following choices within CuteFTP's FTP Site Manager "Add Host" dialog box:
Host Address: yourdomain.com User ID : yourusername Password: yourpassword
Login Type:
normal (checked)
Initial Remote Directory:
mainwebsite_html (for the main root)
If Initial Remote Directory settings do not work for you , you can simply click on the mainwebsite_html directory in your ftp client and upload/ download your files.
Be sure to name your main web page (i.e., the page that you want to automatically see first when browsing to your site) in this folder to the filename:
index.html
FrontPage Server Extensions (FPSE) are installed automatically for your site. You may begin using the FPSE for managing your site at anytime. We caution you to not delete the FPSE files that are required to make your site function. The FPSE related files are scripts that make counters, form handlers, navigation, search and other content in you FrontPage web function. The FPSE files and directories automatically installed in /web are:
directory _private directory _vti_bin directory _vti_cnf filename _vti_inf.html directory _vti_log directory _vti_pvt directory _vti_txt filename postinfo.html
For your maximum happiness please leave these files alone in your ftp access to your site.
When accessing your site with Front Page it is necessary to use the fully qualified domain name of your site.

You can place your site CGI files in your mainwebsite-cgi directory . Make sure you assign execute permissions on any scripts you place here. Use the extensions .pl or .cgi for your scripts.
The PERL 5 binary path is:

The sendmail SMTP server binary path is
:/usr/sbin/sendmail
The SMTP server to use would be
smtp.eoni.comIf you add user accounts in your site administration page and would like to retrieve email directly you may configure your POP3 email program to retrieve incoming email from:

Please note for the login in your email client you will need to append the domain name on the end. Without doing this you will not be able to receive email for the domain.
If your username is “yourusername” your login should be the following.
yourusername@yourdomain.com
Continue using the outgoing email SMTP server you use with your Internet service provider now. If you are an EONI customer you should use smtp.eoni.com for outgoing email. If you are an EONI roaming customer then you may have received a different SMTP server to use. If you have questions, please contact EONI.
