Other Operating Systems
- If you use a UNIX or Linux system,
your hardware needs to meet the minimums for Windows systems.
Other operating systems are not currently officially supported and although
you may be able to use other operating systems to access
our services, EONI will not provide technical support
beyond providing our DNS, network host addresses, and
dialup phone numbers. Please contact EONI technical support
at support@eoni.com
for further information. Support for any Internet access
or programs running on other than the Windows or Apple
platforms is provided only during normal business hours
of 9:00AM to 5:30PM Monday through Friday.
Your System Must Be Functioning Properly
-
Your system and its components need to be in proper operating order, and must be virus- and spyware-free.
The Internet is
changing and the applications or programs needed to access
the Internet effectively require more power (faster processors,
more RAM, newer software, more hard drive space, etc.) and
the trend is not slowing down. Accordingly, for your computer
system to access the Internet effectively and reliably,
it needs to be sufficiently "powered." EONI technical
support cannot make older, slower and essentially outmoded
systems work for applications and programs which they simply
do not have the ability to run.
